We want to cast an inspirational and Biblical vision for young adults of how a Christ-centered career calling can honor God and make an impact in their world. We pair marketplace leaders and young adults within their business, organization or association to explore what this looks like in real-world, practical applications while nurturing a healthy, mentoring, discipleship relationship.

Once you’ve purchased the curriculum, you will gain access to our online portal that includes everything you’ll need to run the program including videos, instructions for activities, and training modules. The only additional items will be a workbook for each participant (available on Amazon), and any supplies needed for the activities (we give you plenty of notice in the portal), and any arrangements you choose to make for suggested experiences such as the kickoff retreat and the closing celebration events. 

The program is designed as a 12 week program with 60 minute individual weekly sessions. Each session consists of short video lessons, learning activities, and discussions designed to keep both mentees and mentors active and engaged. However, the program is adjustable to fit your schedule and calendar.

The curriculum teaches a Biblical theology of work, practical career readiness skills, and discipleship lessons on topics that are applied to a workplace such as conflict resolution, time management, and how to build trust and influence with your coworkers.

For our purposes, a Marketplace Leader is someone who loves God, but does not have a career in a ministry or church setting. This includes careers such as business leader, surgeon, teacher, skilled trades worker, news anchor, computer programmer, engineer, farmer, entrepreneur, marketing director, and as many other careers as you can think of!

The curriculum is written for post-high school young adults ages 19-28. They can be students in college, beginning vocational school or training, or those who are beginning their career journey in the workforce. We recommend starting with individuals you know are interested in learning about their career options, incorporating their faith, and will value the investment of a mentor.

The best mentors are marketplace leaders who have a grasp of how their faith and careers intertwine and how both play a part in God’s mission for their lives. We recommend recruiting mentors who have an established career with access to opportunities and insight that will be valuable to their mentees.

The annual cost for the program is $400 and includes the full online video curriculum, a 24/7 online resource portal, and ongoing coaching and support to help you provide a successful program for all involved.

In addition, each participant needs a workbook (available on Amazon for $35) which can be purchased by individuals, the organization, or an involved mentor.

There are also some discretionary expenses that you’ll decide on for hospitality, kickoff retreats, and celebration events. Organizations can also charge a fee for mentees or mentors to be a part of the program to help offset expenses at their discretion.
